The Asdrubal Barosso Medical Scholarship Fund.

To help meet the needs of children growing up in developing nations, International Samaritan is pleased to partner with the Catholic Foundation of Michigan to provide opportunities for people to honor a loved one and to make a difference that will last forever. Through this page, you can contribute to our existing legacy gift, the Asdrubal Barroso Medical Scholarship. This scholarship was established by Mary Vincent in honor of both her father, Dr. John Vincent, and Asdrubal Barosso, a scholar from Nicaragua who passed away at the age of seventeen from untreated appendicitis. This scholarship provides a medical or nursing school scholarship to a student in need from Nicaragua.
